Because the rewards are things money can’t buy. @savloeffler has challenged me to become [the] man I’ve become / am becoming. And that’s a much better version than any man I’ve ever been. But the first step in that process happened when I gave Jesus authority to lead me. Without His leadership I would never have been in a state where my heart was as healthy as it was to actually receive Savannah’s love for me. I know a lot of men struggle with ‘commitment’. But I think the reality is men are actually struggling with pain that hasn’t been healed or dealt with. And it keeps them from receiving. Men and women actually. The world has a misconception about what it means to be healed and healthy right now—a lot of people think it means you are ‘free from expectations so you can do whatever you want.’ Not true. Healthy is the narrow road. Which means self-denial. But not from a place of false humility. When you get your heart right, you learn righteous sacrifice. Cause you’ve discovered what Jesus did for you. And you begin to see the woman in your life as He sees you. Only wanting what’s best. Even if it costs you everything you have, the reward is more than you or I could pay…when it’s done God’s way. Forgot what this post is about now. I love my wife…” ~TJ Loeffler
