Nonetheless, we all out here growing… “If you don’t like small talk it means you’re not good at listening. The purpose of small talk is to test boundaries, slowly build trust, and pick up details to carefully broaden the conversation. Why should strangers offer you valuable information if you haven’t demonstrated your ability to handle simple tasks competently? Not being interested in small talk or finding it stupid makes you appear socially cynical and dismissive.
